Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role Facilities Coordinator in North London, near Regents Park.
About the role
You will be using the building checklist to carry out daily building inspections to include Plant Rooms, Toilets, Shower Rooms, Offices, Lifts, Car Parks, Kitchens, Fire Systems, etc. to ensure everything is in working order. Inform Facilities Manager of any major faults picked up such as electrics not working and leaking pipes/taps.
You will assist in daily management of the Net2 access control system.
On a daily basis, you will be required to monitor the Facilities group mail box, and take action on issues and requests that are raised by other members of staff. Monitor progress of requests and chase up outstanding issues when required.
You will be responsible for ensuring weekly fire alarm bell/call point and panel tests are conducted and maintain the log, reporting any issues to the Facilities Manager.
You will be responsible for undertaking monthly emergency lighting flick tests, maintaining the log and reporting any issues to the Facilities Manager.
You will also be assisting and monitoring / managing PPM schedule for all four offices.
When required, review the CCTV playback operation checking cameras pick up any unusual activities that may have occurred on site during the night. Ensure that the system is used in accordance with the CCTV policy.
You will be assisting with office planning / moves.
You will be acting as a Deputy FM and take lead role on building related issues in the absence of the Facilities Manager.
Work with the reception team to provide a professional and friendly service to both guests and staff. Provide emergency cover at reception desk when necessary.
