We seeking an experienced Events BDM/Account Manager to join a highly successful travel and events company, working remotely. The ideal Events Business Development / Account Manager shall be working closely with the Head of Events to seek out new business opportunities and foster long-term client relationships. Events BDM/Account Manager Duties: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate events industry. Develop and implement strategies to attract and acquire new clients. Generate leads through various channels, such as networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events. Opportunities to expand business with existing clients through upselling, cross-selling, or offering additional event services. Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their event requirements, objectives, and expectations. Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of the company’s event services. Collaborate with the Events logistics team to ensure that they understand the clients event objectives and requirements. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Essential Requirements: Prior sales/account management experience working in the events industry is essential. A comprehensive understanding of sales strategy and able to lead event tenders. Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication. Strong event business intelligence to challenge and drive better decisions by clients.
