Approved Electrician / Electrical EngineerSalary: £37,500 – £55,800 (including overtime)Location: On site – Southeast (company van and fuel card provided)Hours: Monday- Friday- 9 hour shift (7.5 at normal rate, 1.5 at overtime rate)About the company:

Duties of the Approved Electrician:

• Working with a team of 7 talented electricians, you will be performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• As a team, you will travel across the whole Southeast delivering exceptional electrical services in hazardous environments.
• Assess risks and implement necessary safety measures to ensure a secure work environment, alongside conducting inspections, testing and certification of electrical equipment.
• Have strong problem-solving skills, attention to details, excellent communications and interpersonal abilities.

Requirements and experience of this Approved Electrician:

• CompEx certification.
• Proven experience as an Approved Electrician, preferably with hazardous environments knowledge.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., IEC, ATEX, BS 7671) and in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
