Job Description:

Electro / Mechanical Assembler

Working under limited supervision, will assemble and carry out pressure testing on a range of Halliburton Completion and Intervention equipment within our manufacturing facility.
Will be required to review & understand a range of technical documentation, including drawings, Bills of Material & build documents, and work with this documentation to ensure that products are built in accordance with all engineering & customer requirements.
Will be required to actively engage in the company HSE & Continuous Improvement program, and will assist in initiatives to drive improvements in service quality.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

• Recognized technical apprenticeship or job-related training and experience in a similar function
• Awareness of relevant health & safety regulations
• Good mechanical, electrical aptitude and understanding with the ability to interpret engineering documents, drawings etc.
• Experience of working to ISO and API regulations is advantageous.
• Soldering experience preferred but not required.
• Point to point wiring, cable crimping and terminating work.
• Knowledge of using precision measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres and digital multimeters.

Performs routine and some non-routine testing/analysing processes with demonstrated proficiency. Has some latitude for problem-solving, Works under general supervision for repetitive tasks, and under direct supervision for new tasks. Skills typically acquired through 1-2 years working in a related technician capacity.
