37 hours per week
Bridgend County Borough Council are seeking to employ a skilled and enthusiastic Educational Psychologist to our well established, supportive and highly regarded Educational Psychology Service. The team provides a consultation service to schools and works closely with Learner Support colleagues and local authority services to identify needs and support the emotional wellbeing of vulnerable children and young adults across the borough. We value collaboration and there are well established multi-disciplinary working arrangements.
There will be opportunities to operate at a strategic level, to develop specialist interests and to undertake training. Supervision, support, flexible working hours and CPD will be regularly available. We encourage a healthy work-life balance. This is a full-time position but welcome applications from those seeking part-time employment.
We require a positive psychologist who is a good communicator with a strong vision for the development of high quality service delivery and is knowledgeable about current practice in educational psychology and additional learning needs.
Applicants must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check. All practising Educational Psychologists in the UK must be registered with the HCPC.
