Description
The Manager for Digital and social media in Europe will support the Senior Manager in executing effective communications ‘dialogues’ with key stakeholders through all relevant internal and external digital and social channels.
The aim is to exploit all relevant digital platforms (websites, portals, social media, apps) to create and build stakeholder awareness and engagement; and to position the brand as a leader in the digital age.
Key responsibilities are to help ensure that digital and social media activities are focused on business and brand priorities in the region; and are integrated to deliver a consistent and coherent sense of the brand.
The role supports the EUR regional Brand & Communications Plan and operates within the overall strategic framework of the Group Business Strategy, Brand Purpose, Sustainability Strategy and the Global Reputation and Brand Plan. The Manager for Digital & social media should have leading-edge skills in the management of all relevant external and internal platforms; and in delivering integrated multimedia campaigns across the full spectrum of paid, earned, shared and owned media channels.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a wide range of internal constituencies: of course, working closely with specialist Communications colleagues across all disciplines at both central and regional levels, but also, directly with the Businesses; with other Functions; and with the company’s full roster of External Agencies.
