Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join an established medical manufacturing business in Swansea.

This role would suit an organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys helping customers, working as part of a team and ensuring orders are managed accurately and efficiently.

You’ll be an important point of contact for customers throughout the order process, working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure customer requirements are dealt with promptly, from initial enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deal with incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Process sales orders and ensure information is entered accurately onto the relevant systems.
• Keep customers informed about order progress, availability and delivery dates.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries, issues and complaints.
• Build positive and professional relationships with customers.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Work closely with sales, warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate orders.
• Maintain up-to-date customer and order information.
• Follow company processes and procedures to ensure a consistently high level of service.
• Assist colleagues with general customer service and administrative duties when required.

Requirements

Preferred experience and skills:

• Previous experience in customer service, sales administration, order processing or a similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong IT skills and confidence in learning new systems.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, helpful and proactive approach to work.
