Customer Relations and Logistics Specialist – (12 month FTC – leading onto potential permanent opportunity)
Salary: 30,000 – 35,000

My client is a rapidly expanding global supplier, specialising in the distribution of chemical and raw material products to various industries worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Customer Relations and logistics Specialist to join their dynamic Operations team. Reporting to the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, the role entails delivering exceptional customer service, managing orders, and coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to customers.

Key duties: Collaborating with sales managers, fostering positive customer relationships, processing orders, organising logistics, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate should have experience in logistics or related roles, possess strong administrative skills, demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication, be detail-oriented, and be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable skills include: Fluency in a foreign language, knowledge of chemical industry products and logistics, proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, and familiarity with import/export administration and Incoterms 2020.

Success in the role is measured by achieving sales and customer account plans, receiving exceptional feedback from stakeholders, adeptly managing priorities, resolving issues effectively, maintaining accuracy in paperwork, fostering effective communication within teams, and personal growth and development within the organisation.
