About the service We have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join our extra care Community Wellbeing scheme, Greenmill Gardens in the vibrant area of Seacroft, Leeds. We support older people aged 55+ with varying care and support needs to live independently in their own home with peace of mind. We ll offer high quality living in our 64 beautifully designed apartments with a variety of on-site facilities including assistive technology, 24/7 on site wellbeing and care provision, café, hair/beauty salon, cosy communal lounges with IT area, activity room and picturesque landscaped gardens. It s a real hub within the local community. Brilliant isn t it! Based on our fantastic new building on Seacroft Crescent, we are just minutes A1M and very close to good public transport links, with bus stops just over the road at Seacroft Shopping Centre with routes around the city and Harrogate. Really handy! About the role As our Cleaner, you ll be keeping our wonderful new building spick and span, ensuring it s a clean, safe, and cosy environment for our customers and colleagues. You ll be responsible for all general cleaning duties and maintaining hygiene in our stunning communal areas and offices. You ll ensure that all tasks are carried out efficiently, economically and to a high standard. You ll work as part of our fantastic team and support with void rooms, ensuring that they are cleaned and are turned around quickly and to high standards ready for new customers to move in. About you We are looking for someone who is a fantastic cleaner, with a brilliant eye for detail and reliable. You ll be able to work well in a friendly and lively team setting, always pleasant and respectful to our customers whilst maintaining good professional boundaries. When you start your job, you ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for this if you don t have a transferrable one already. About our team We re recruiting a brilliant new team, so you re going to be part of a fabulous new Home Group family. You ll be reporting to Emma our Community and Wellbeing Manager, working closely alongside our housing team and Helen our Registered Manager and her Care team too. So, you ll have tons of experienced support on hand working within our exciting brand-new service. Working hours Hours of work are Part Time 18.75 hours per week, days and times of work are flexible and we can work around what s best for you.
