SECTION 1 – JOB PURPOSE
1.1 Work as part of a team to provide support by cleaning and sanitising the hangar, offices, crew rooms and toilets.
SECTION 2 – MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
2.1 As a key holder, be able to draw the keys each morning and open the buildings.
2.2 Clean the hangar floor daily, in particular clean any bird droppings and take care not to disturb any equipment.
2.3 Clean the crew room and toilets daily.
2.4 Regularly vacuum and clean down worksurfaces in the offices.
2.5 Dispose of any waste in accordance with Station guidelines with consideration for any environmental or Health & Safety regulations.
2.6 Order consumables and refills as required.
2.7 Manage any emergent cleaning as required.
2.8 Wear appropriate PPE at all times and comply with any Health & Safety or other standards as advised.
2.9 Report any environmental or Health & Safety concerns to the Health & Safety Controller and / or the Wildcat Base Maintenance Manager.
2.10 Comply with 4Cs and any relevant Yeovilton Standing Orders.
2.11 Any other tasks as directed by the Base Maintenance manager or the Building Manager.
SECTION 3 – KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
3.1 Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential.
3.2 Must hold a current full UK Driving Licence.
3.3 Must be versatile and flexible with respect to the range of tasks that may be required.
3.4 Previous First Aid or Health & Safety experience in the workplace desirable but not essential.
