Class 2 HGV driver nights

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 HGV driver nights on behalf of our client in Runcorn, WA7.

The client is a well known company and requires drivers to deliver non clinical medical supplies to hospitals.

Role of a Class 2 HGV Driver Nights:

• Multi drop of miscellaneous items to hospitals,
• Sunday – Thursday nights: 19:00-20:00 start – 42 hrs per week.
• Roll cage/tailift work
• Ongoing shift pattern

Class 2 HGV drivers will be required to complete a driving assessment and induction prior to commencing work.

Drug and alcohol test is part of the driving assessment process.

Due to the work for health care sector, all candidates are require to apply for DBS check / an official record stating a person’s criminal convictions.

Class 2 HGV drivers will require:

• Hold valid a Class 2 / C+E License
• No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, TT’s or IN’s)
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
• min of 12 months of recent driving experience is essential.

PAYE dynamic rates are:

• Nights Basic £17.50
• MON-FRI Nights Overtime after 42 hrs worked – £22.46
