The Role: Chief Estimator Offshore
The successful candidate will have strong estimating experience within O&G project environment and in particular a strong background in Offshore and Brownfield Projects.
Reviewing estimate methodology statement (if required) prior to issue for comment to the project/client. Obtain approval by Manager, Estimating for target price and LSTK estimates. Reviewing estimate execution schedule and resourcing requirements prepared by the nominated estimator prior to issue for comment to the project/client. Obtain approval from Manager, Estimating for target price and LSTK estimates. Based on schedule, monitor estimate progress Ensuring Principal Estimators coordinate with Project Manager and other Departments to ensure all required technical and commercial input to the estimate is obtained. Ensure good communications/flow of information between Principal Estimators and Discipline Estimators are maintained throughout the estimate preparation. Reviewing estimate, including estimate notes and all other documentation as required for Departmental, Project Management, Executive Management and Client reviews. Carrying out detailed estimate department reviews and attend project, executive management and client reviews as requested/delegated by Manager, Contract Estimating.
