CGM – Risk, Culture and Supervision – Associate – Commodities and Global Markets EMEA

Macquarie’s Commodities & Global Markets Group is seeking to hire a Risk Culture and Supervision Manager based in London to support its growing business in EMEA and The Americas. Working as part of the Risk Culture and Supervision team you will work directly with the business to ensure that conduct related risks are identified and managed in accordance with policy and risk appetite.

Primary responsibilities of the role will be to support the day-to-day operation of Commodities & Global Markets conduct, supervision and culture frameworks including providing guidance and support to the business in the execution of key controls and demonstration of supervisory oversight in partnership with key functional partners compliance advisory, surveillance, Human Resources and Operational Risk.

You will have specific knowledge of front office supervision and related rules / industry standard practice gained within first line risk or business aligned compliance. Experience or background in regulatory change implementation, culture and behavioural analytics, requirements gathering / definition, project management, PowerBI, data analytics and excel would be considered advantageous.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders within the business is essential. It is also expected that you will have a high achievement drive, with strong resilience and tenacity, possess an innovative mindset, strong relationship building and collaboration skills, and commitment to integrity are essential.

Core responsibilities include:

• Day to day interaction with Sales and Trading Supervisors (key control performance, tooling, and reporting)
• Conduct risk incident reviews, governance, and reporting.
• Supervision Process and Control uplift
• Supervisory training and reviews
