Business Intelligence Developer SQL/Azure Birmingham CRG Recruitment are working with our client to recruit a Business Intelligence Developer for our client as they kick off the re-platforming of their Data Warehouse into Azure Cloud technology. As the BI Developer you will design, develop and deliver the Analytics, ETL and integration solutions with continued support and maintenance. Working with colleagues across my client to define requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions that meet the business s needs. Contributing to the implementation and development of standards, tools and techniques ensuring all work is delivered in accordance with standards and following best practice. Please note this is a hybrid role with 1 to 2 days per week in my clients offices in Birmingham. Key Skills required, Advanced knowledge of SQL in various forms e.g. t-SQL, PLSQL, MySQL. Experience of Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory Experience of designing and implementing Kimball data warehouses and ETL processes Experience of designing and implementing Power BI datasets, dashboards and paginated reporting, including DAX and modelling best practices. Awareness of Data Lake, Lakehouse and Machine Learning technologies and capabilities. Familiarity with Python is also beneficial. Ability to translate business needs to technical specifications. Ability to critically evaluate and improve existing BI systems. Knowledge of data warehouse performance optimization and best practice. Experience of delivering projects in an Agile framework. Experience of managing 3rd party/outsourced service suppliers. Proven ability to deploy business systems and solutions to deliver business value. Knowledge and understanding of related standards including GDPR and Technical Design Standards. My client are offering a salary of up to £57,000 depending on experience plus benefits Interested?!?
