Business Development SpecialistDo you have experience in the Business Development sector and would like to embark upon a new challenge? Due to continued expansion, Starting Point Recruitment is looking for Business Development Specialists to join the team and help us identify new opportunities and build long-lasting partnerships.The opportunity will be full-time, based in the vibrant city centre of Birmingham. A salary will be arrived at between £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience.What does the ideal Business Development Specialist look like? Our ideal candidate will have:

• Strong B2B background, preferably in 360 recruitment agencies
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and business development
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, paired with the confidence to complete networking activities
• Great computer literacy, including the application of Microsoft Office software
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to deliver results
• Ability to identify opportunities and to develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Access to own vehicle for occasional travel within the West Midlands, with travel expenses payable
• Experiences in marketing, branding and public relations and strong knowledge in recruitments are desirable
• High level of professionalism

Key duties of Business Development Specialists

• Initiate and establish relationships with new business opportunities through various online and offline channels.
• Attend networking, exhibitions, conferences, and social activities to develop and nurture relationships with prospects.
• Achieve target of new businesses establishment as assigned
• Constantly seek new opportunities in the market for business growth and promote the company’s services.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to develop sales and marketing strategies.
• Ensure to keep up to date with market news within the industry.
• Utilise knowledge in public relations, marketing and branding in sales presentations and sales meetings.
• Administer the CRM system accurately.
