Business Assurance Manager/Lead – Canvey Terminal
Salary: £38k – £46k – dependant on qualifications and experience, plus Management/ Performance Bonus Eligibility – On Target 10% – Max 20%, plus excellent benefits

The Terminal Management team at Canvey are looking for a Business Assurance Manager/Lead who will manage and lead a team to control and undertake the day-to-day administration of the terminal (24/7 top tier COMAH site) including responsibility for the management of purchasing and budgetary control.
The role is to deliver ‘business’ assurance against the Calor operating model and site COMAH requirements and ensure business outputs provide assurance that all necessary statutory and commercials objectives are being achieved and the business is operating within all appropriate legislative & regulatory requirements, ACOPs and industry best practice.
You will manage the terminals Emergency Planning & Business Continuity and Resilience systems in line with Calor policy and industry best practice. To establish an optimised audit and assurance schedule and the management of actions and implement agreed continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and ensure terminal is compliant in all respects in relation to ships calling at the terminal.
The Canvey Terminal is the largest facility in the UK able to import and export refrigerated propane. Operations include the loading and unloading of ships, management of refrigerated LPG storage.
