Training and Development investment for employees to enjoy including on the job training, apprenticeships, and self-development courses Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme Ideally having previous experience working within an air conditioning, refrigeration or distribution industry you will have a professional, first class customer first approach with the ability to confidently work both well in the local team and across all FSW branches and Head Office. You will need to develop strong working relationships particularly with the more local branches to ensure effective stock is maintained and can be utilised in the most effective manner for the business as a whole. You will need to have a good standard of education including maths and English, and have the ability to use IT systems including Microsoft office. Working closely with the team and across all activities in the branch ie in the warehouse, office administration, ensuring the shopper is ordered on time, working on and ensuring the trade counter is well stocked and presentable to ensure customers receive a professional service. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build strong working relationships having the ability and desire to help lead, motivate and ensure all staff are trained and coached to reach their full potential in all work areas in the branch. With people management responsibilities you will actively participate in updating holiday and sickness records, recruitment and selection, team updates/meetings, training and development, reviewing and improving current working practices and documentation. You will have health and safety responsibilities ensuring all have and wear appropriate PPE, be familiar with fire drills and alarm systems, ensure the warehouse and delivery vehicles are kept safe and tidy and meet all legislative and FSW Ltd requirements. You must be willing to undertake all necessary training for the role and this may include online training both in work and your own time, and potentially an apprenticeship training programme. Whilst not essential, it would be advantageous if you were a trained as either a First Aider, Fire Marshall or Mental Health First Aider and/or have a forklift truck licence, although training for the above can be provided. You will be required to participate in the company out of hour s standby service (on a rostered basis) which include cover over Bank and Statutory Days. We are an equal opportunities employer
