The City of Liverpool College are currently looking for bank lecturers to support on an ad hoc basis in the subject areas below:
Location – Vauxhall Road
Qualifications / Experience – HND as a minimum, preferrably degree qualified in relevant subject area, would also consider staff with physics or material science or chemical engineering backgrounds.
Should have or be working towards a teaching qualification
The School of Engineering, Green Technolioges and Logistics offers a wide range of programmes from Level 1 to Level 5 to include the specialist areas of mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, civil engineering, building services engineering Professional Construction, Surveying, Motor Vehicle maintenance and repair, Fabrication and Welding
In addition the School offers Higher Education programme pathways in the specialisms of general engineering, manufacturing engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, civil engineering, building services engineering, Professional Construction and SurveyingThere are also a number of short income generation programmes offered on a termly basis. The School has good and established links with employers and the awarding bodies with a high level of progression opportunities to higher education and employment.
The School aspires to achieving excellence in teaching and learning through innovative and excellent practice within an exciting and developing specialist subject areas. All staff are expected to create effective and stimulating learning opportunities for all students through high quality teaching, learning and assessment. The School requires that staff must be able to teach a range of specialist skills including the use of current industry practice. The staff team are dedicated and contribute to the overall success of the School.
As a bank worker you would be expected to be aware of national developments in the subject area and to plan, prepare and deliver high quality lessons in order to achieve effective management of the learning process in addition to the assessment, tracking and recording of student progress.
