Assistant Store Manager Expanding Retailer! £24,500 – £26,000 + Bonus

Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment is currently recruiting for an ambitious AssistantManager for a retailer who are successful, ambitious and expanding. We want to recruit an Assistant Manager who can be fast tracked to be a Store Manager and then keep moving onwards and upwards.

We want an Assistant Manager who has experience of working in a fast-paced retail environment is essential, we are open to speaking to candidates who want to reach the next level in their career and will consider applications from Assistant Managers or Deputy Managers or want to develop to become a Store Manager.

To be our clients new Assistant Manager, you will be a motivated to be a Store Manager either again or as a first appointment. We want a retailer who is hands-on, shop floor based, commercial and a result driven retail manager who has a passion for coaching and developing teams, combined with a passion for delivering a brilliant service.

You will need your own transport to travel to our clients’ stores, in addition we want a proven Store Manager who can support other stores across the area when required so a flexible approach is a must.

As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Driving customer service standards in your store.
• Increase sales in store and ensuring site profitability.
• Training, coaching and developing your team.
• Maintain company and brand standards are maintained as well as adhering to H&S guidelines.
• Achieving store and company KPI’s.
• Profit protection and stock management
• Keeping up with current trends, including competitor analysis.

Our client’s Assistant Manager role is the ideal next challenge for someone with experience of managing large team and driving results in fast paced stores. We will consider applications form ambitious candidates who want to step up to become a Store Manager or even retail managers who want a return to an industry they are passionate about.

In reward for your hard work, you will receive a basic salary circa £24,500-26k plus £2,000 bonus and benefits, which is reviewed throughout your career. Please note, due to locations and working hours you will need your own transport. This is essential.
