Assembly & Dispatch Print Operative Location: Eastleigh SO50 4NU Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 Pro rata Contract: Part Time, Permanent Hours: 25 hours per week (Flexible) The company Classic Folios was established in 1996 providing leading housing developers with printed homeowner manuals. It has subsequently evolved and now also offers an online portal to which developers can subscribe and deliver a home portal experience for their buyers. However, we still have many developers that prefer traditional printed handover documentation hence the requirement for someone with knowledge of print and packing. What we offer • A fun and friendly warehouse and office environment • KPI reward scheme each quarter • Pension scheme • Employee benefits program • Childcare vouchers Assembly & Dispatch Print Operative – The role: We are ideally looking for applications from candidates who have worked in print and packaging to oversee our Assembly department and the dispatch of goods each day. Working closely with our Production department to print the required homeowner manuals and sustainability and quick reference guides and then pack as instructed and dispatch daily. There will be a requirement to oversee stock working closely with the Customer Experience department and engrave plates to create bespoke plot specific manuals. For someone with the right knowledge there will be flexibility in how you work and the freedom to introduce your own processes. Assembly & Dispatch Print Operative – What we need fromyou: Your skill set: • Quick understanding of processes • Ability to collaborate with other team members • Able to prioritise and organise workload while maintaining accuracy and a professional attitude • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organisations • Knowledge of Microsoft office, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign • Engraver knowledge an advantage but not essential as training will be given • Previous knowledge of print and print finishing • Ability to follow work order specifications • Good eye for detail required to check detail before dispatch • Quick learner, able to think on your feet and adapt to situations • Enjoy work and are prepared to put in the time to achieve results • Ad hoc tasks across the Print and Assembly departments If you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful within this role, click on apply today forwarding an up-to-date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.
