This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a rapidly growing company which offers excellent earning potential. If you are happy to work on site and away from home this is the role for you. The company in question work nationwide with organisations like Northumbria Water, Anglian Water and United Utilities. Our client are expanding their team due to a rapidly increasing order book.THE ROLECarry out electrical installation work without immediate supervision.Have knowledge of the most economical and effective layout of installations together with the ability to achieve a high level of productivity.Set out jobs from drawings and specifications.Requisition the necessary installation materials in a timely manner in order to progress work.Accept responsibility for the completion of projects.Supervision of trainee electrical workers where necessary and advise on the correct working methods.Record installations “as built” on the contract drawings.Undertaking commissioning duties as and when requiredBe aware of the company Health & Safety regulations for working on sites.Undertake training as compliant with the Company Training MatrixComply with management procedures as and when issued.Check material deliveries for installation and complete paperwork fully.Ensure all material ordered are used on site or returned to stores at Unit I1.Any other reasonable unreferenced duties that may arise which are in line with the level of skill requirementTHE PERSONEssential:Obtained NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installation work or approved equivalent.Demonstrated competence in inspecting, testing, and commissioning of installations by obtaining C&G 2391At least two years demonstrable experience as an Electrician18th edition Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations.ECS JIB approved electrician card.Desirable:IPAFPASMAMEWPKnowledge of Control panel wiring.Portable appliance testing.PLC knowledge.Confined space entry.THE PACKAGEDepending on what band you qualify for the hourly rates are;Work shop rate: £16.43 to £17.54Site rate: £16.53 to £17.78Working away: £17.49 to £19.0825 days holiday + bank holidaysWorkshop hours Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm / Friday 8am – 2pmOvertime is paid at time & half & double timeTO APPLYPlease apply for this position and your CV will go direct to our Engineering Consultant Neil Douthwaite who is leading the search.
