What you’ll be doing;
You will keep our HGV’s safely on the road, so our street side operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers.
Responsible for carrying out routine body inspections, defect repairs, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe.
Ensure all workshop tools, personal tools and welding equipment is secured and where possible locked away each night. Welding and electrical equipment should be turned off and left in a safe condition when not in use.
Attend roadside breakdowns if required and work as part of a team.
What we’re looking for;
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification.
Hold a HGV driving licence – desirable or willing to gain this through training.
Supply your own comprehensive tool kit.
If you are a skilled or semi-skilled Technician we’d still love to hear from you. We can provide upskilling and develop you further once you’ve started with us.
