Aviation Connection are working with our client Newrest, based in Manor Royal. We are now recruiting attentive cleaner to join our client.

To be successful as a cleaner, you should be able to complete assigned tasks within the stipulated period. Ultimately, a top-performing cleaner should be physically fit and able to perform with minimal supervision.

LOCATION: Crawley.

SALARY: £10.61 per hour

BENEFITS: Parking on site, meals provided whilst on duty, full uniform and PPE provided.

SHIFTS: 4 on 2 off

Earlies: 06.00 – 14.30

Mids: 10.00 – 18.30

Lates: 13:00-21.30

Cleaner Responsibilities:

Cleaning – Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

To clean each area of the unit in accordance to the cleaning schedule.
Manage chemical to ensure the correct dosage is used.
Ensure all chemicals are kept locked in the chemical cupboard when not in use.
Cleaning up any spills immediately to avoid slips.
Always put out the correct signage to inform staff of cleaning and the potential risk.
Ensure each area of the unit has a monthly deep clean in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
Ensure timely replenishment of food hygiene items i.e. hairnets, beard snoods, hand wash soap, sanitizers
Adhere to clean as you go standard
Adhere to inflight services security compliance
Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.
Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
Adhere to clean as you go standard.
Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.
Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives.
Any other duties as requested by your manager.

Skills and Knowledge:

Experience in a similar role.(desirable)
Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Good organisational skills.
Able to work on it’s own.
Flexible
