SHIFT PATTERN:

2 Rotating Shifts – 4 on 2 off:

Days 06:45 – 15:30

Afters 15:45 – 00:30

Gi Pro are looking to recruit two Production Managers to join a market leading FMCG company who have an enviable client base. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated Production Manager will be required to manage and lead the production team in the delivery of an effective and efficient operation in line with business requirements. This is a great opportunity that offers autonomy to influence and make a difference.

THE ROLE:As a Production Manager you will be required to:

  • Manage a team of 40 staff on shift
  • Ensure on time delivery in full
  • Monitor output, quality, cost, hygiene and health & safety ensuring KPI’s have been met
  • Getting the best out of staff and identifying training needs
  • Ensure that assigned section activities are conducted in accordance to company procedures and standards ensuring high quality output
  • Lead continuous improvement activities and support initiatives to improve efficiencies
  • Working closely with departmental managers to improve overall output
  • Improve maintenance and service of equipment
  • Check product quality and report any non-conformances
  • Liaising with customer services to deal with queries and requests

THE CANDIDATE:The ideal Production Manager will have:

  • Previously worked in FMCG, Food or a fast paced Logistics environment
  • Previous experience managing a team with the ability to motivate others
  • Knowledge of change management and lean continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • A dynamic personality with the attitude to always do better
  • Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
