We are working closely with a market leading B2B events company to find them a People Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is invested in providing a nurturing and enjoyable environment for their ever growing team.

This role will allow you to develop and implement training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of people within the business. In order to do this, you will be collaborating with various stakeholders, identify training needs and then deliver effective training solutions in order to positively impact employee development and company goals.

What will this role include?

• Working closely with department heads to identify training needs and performance gaps.
• Design and develop comprehensive training programs; create engaging and interactive training materials.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, collect feedback, and make necessary improvements to training programs.
• Collaborate with the Head of People to develop and deliver effective onboarding programs for new employees and integrate L&D initiatives with the performance management process.
• Support the company’s learning culture and promote self-directed learning opportunities and knowledge sharing opportunities.
• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, room setup, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct post-training surveys to measure the effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on evaluation results.

The ideal candidate will have/ be:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Training and Development or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience within an HR Training Specialist role or similar.
• Proficient in designing and delivering training programs using various modalities
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to measure training effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
