Job Description: SAP MFS Consultant for Warehouse Automation Projects We are seeking an experienced SAP MFS Consultant with a strong technical background to join our team for complex Warehouse Automation projects. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully delivering at least two end-to-end MFS implementations in Warehouse Automation projects. The consultant should have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in integrating SAP MFS with various automation components such as AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), Conveyor Systems, Palletizers, Wrappers, Printers, and other warehouse automation equipment. Responsibilities: 1. MFS Implementation: Participate actively in all phases of MFS implementation projects, from requirement gathering and solution design to system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support. 2. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for MFS system implementation in warehouse automation projects. 3. Solution Design: Design and configure the MFS system to integrate and control various automation components, including AGVs, Conveyor Systems, Palletizers, Wrappers, Printers, and other relevant equipment, ensuring seamless material flow and optimal warehouse operation. Enhancement of existing telegrams and development of new telegrams 4. Integration with Automation Equipment: Implement interfaces and integration scenarios between SAP MFS and warehouse automation components. Define and configure communication protocols, message formats, and data exchange mechanisms for real-time control and monitoring of automation equipment. 5. Warehouse Process Optimization: Collaborate with the project team and warehouse operations to optimize material flow processes, layout design, and automation control strategies, considering factors such as throughput, efficiency, safety, and scalability. 6. Testing and Commissioning: Plan and execute comprehensive testing activities for MFS and automation integration, including unit testing, integration testing, and site acceptance testing. Coordinate with equipment vendors for system integration and commissioning activities. 7. Documentation: Prepare system documentation, including functional specifications, technical specifications, process flowcharts, and user manuals related to MFS and automation integration. 8. Issue Resolution and Support: Identify and resolve system issues, defects, or configuration gaps during the testing phase and provide post-go-live support for MFS and automation components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and ensure operational stability. 9. Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, project team members, equipment vendors, and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with technical and functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of MFS and automation components. Requirements: 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP MFS Consultant, specializing in complex Warehouse Automation projects. 2. Proven experience in delivering at least two end-to-end MFS implementations in Warehouse Automation projects, including integration with AGV, Conveyor Systems, Palletizers, Wrappers, Printers, and other relevant automation equipment. 3. Strong technical knowledge of SAP MFS functionalities, configuration, and integration with automation components. 4. Hands-on experience in defining and configuring interfaces, communication protocols, and data exchange mechanisms between SAP MFS and automation equipment. 5. Excellent understanding of warehouse automation processes, material flow optimization, layout design, and automation control strategies. 6. Proficient in MFS documentation practices, including functional and technical specifications, process flowcharts, and user manuals. 7. Solid experience in conducting system testing, issue resolution, and providing post-go-live support for MFS and automation components. 8. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex warehouse processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions. 10.
