Morson Talent Leiston are delighted to be recruiting for Industrial Painters with ICATS to work on a Power Station in Leiston, Suffolk.

Job description:
To carry out the preparation and coating of steel structures, pipework, concrete floors & walls and a variety of other industrial environments.

Duties will include:
Work closely with other painters and supervisors.
Work with hand tools and powered mechanical tools such as needle guns, bristle blasters, sanders etc.
Develop effective working relationships with appropriate parties.
Read and understand processes and safety procedures.
Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are handled accurately and in time therefore ensuring we deliver a high standard of work to the business and client.

Candidate Specification
Industry experience in the same or similar environment.
Ability to identify future painting tasks and report through the right paths
Experience in using relevant power tools.

Industry Qualifications Preferred
ICATS basic or equivalent
PASMA/IPAF Qualified
Relevant hands on industrial painting experience
NACE coating inspection qualification
IRATA Roped Access
IPAF 3a & 3B

Candidates will require CTC Nuclear Clearance.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 37 hours per week.
Hourly Pay Rate is approx. £15.00per hour PAYE
This position is deemed inside IR35

Initially the position is Temporary however may well be until the end of 2023.
